Artful Entry
Gallery like in its electric mix of art, this foyer truly invites and involves those that enter. A Tibetan knotted rug in vivid color sets the stage for stainless steel, leggy pedestals topped with an exotic mix of ceramics, fused glass, and blown glass objects. A unique curved wooden panel, dressed in dynamic hues hangs above. The scene is completed with a delicious crimson chenille bench with bolsters. A painted collage wood clock tells time high on the wall.
About the Client
A young couple with two children in elementary school wanted an atmosphere that was decidedly contemporary, comfortable, and sophisticated without being stuffy. Pieces that are flexible and work well together in a variety of arrangements was essential. They have recently been relocated and have moved everything to a new home out of state
