This queen sized guest room sports an antique four poster bed with a delightful ready made channel quilted bed covering. The window treatments are butterfly panels in a quiet stripe with solid lining. The sky blue wall shade invites with calm and relaxation. A yo-yo quilt adorns the far wall.

About the Client
With friends vacation homes in the area, my client wanted to find a weekend getaway. This three bedroom, two bath home was a great layout, but required a real face lift. With new flooring, all new wall colors, all baths and the kitchen completely gutted and redone, and the horrendous popcorn ceilings scraped down, the vision for a place to entertain friends and get away from Atlanta began to show through. We established the color scheme based on a couple of antique quilts, and moved immediately into rug choices, with a family of Soumak and Nourmak weaves in lively yellow golds and crimsons.
