Aged to Perfection
From the custom art glass entry doors to the wine cellar door in a sister pattern, this room was especially designed for the wine connoisseur. The walls are rubbed with a faux to mimic the wine caves of France. The floor is a mottled earthy tile with bronze metallic accent diamonds. Two pairs of assorted leather chairs are grouped for television viewing, while a bar height table with chairs in black and cherry sports wine labels beneath its glass top. Original and edition artwork with a wine motif and wine labels decorate the room.

About the Client
A successful pediatrician and his wife, they have two soon to be teenagers. The family enjoys movies together and both the husband and wife are avid cooks. In addition, the doctor is a wine enthusiast and collector, and grows his own vegetables. They wanted family friendly contemporary design.
